Welcome to FoRF Online:

  • Our common purpose is to foster understanding, tolerance and basic respect amongst all faiths and faith-groups. We see a vision of the near future in which:

    Religion binds famililies and is never a cause for strife and division;

    All communities and governments fully respect the ideals and practices of all individuals of faith;

    Violent actions of any sort are deemed intollerable and hateful and hurful attitudes are long forgotten;

    The basic ethical and moral code shared by all faiths is the paramount, if not the only, rule of law in human society;

    All men and women of the world have peace of mind and enriching challenges;

    And, YOU share our goals in spirit and action. Please join us in the fight for your rights and freedoms ---- help us make the next millenium the best yet.

  • Religious Tolerance in the News
       In early 1999-NOV, the people at ReligiousTolerance.org started to collect news items which described incidents of religious intolerance. Then they stumbled across a single news item which covered an act of religious tolerance. So, they decided to add an additional list where they could report news items which promoted religious tolerance.
       Their listing should be interpreted with care. They only list major news items related to religious tolerance. They do not report the actions of millions of devout believers of all faiths, who, day after day, help the hungry, homeless, broken and hurting throughout the world
